Although I’ve worked on existing websites before, Blessed Bakes was my first client for whom I got to start from nothing. I got to create the website, and design the business logo. It was a thrilling experience, although it definitely made me crave some sugar more than once!
Working with a bakery was so much fun. I loved coming up with logo ideas, and Rebecca and I seemed to read each other’s minds!
We got stuck on two logo ideas, and Rebecca took a poll on her facebook page to help her decide between them.
While I liked both, naturally, I felt like the second one portrayed Rebecca’s spunky and fun-loving personality and her creative cake creations, like monster trucks and motocycles.
Finally, Rebecca decided she liked the colorful logo, but she liked the script font from the first logo. I blended them to create the final logo:
Once we had the logo, the website, business cards, and letterhead came together quickly. Easy as pie… or should I say, it was a piece of cake!
Explore Blessed Bakes here, especially if you’re local to the Phoenix valley! Rebecca made my graduation cake, and I couldn’t have been more thrilled with it. I highly recommend her!
